Types of Weaving

Plain Weaves

Plain weave woven wire cloth also named square mesh, it is used for the majority of wire cloth.

Plain weave woven wire cloth also named square mesh, it is used for the majority of wire cloth, Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa. Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter. Square meshes are used in applications like sieving, filtration, shielding technology and lightning strike protection.

Boegger's quality is above the industry standards in China.

In the standard range, Boegger produces metal meshes with apertures of 0.025 mm to 14 mm on the basis of DIN/ISO 9044 (industrial wire mesh). Depending on the aperture, the wire meshes are manufactured in plain weave (1/1) or in twilled weave (2/2). Stainless steels 316/316L (1.4401 /1.4404) and 304/304L (1.4301/1.4306) are standard materials.

Custom manufacturing, availability.

Subject to the aperture, the standardized production width is between 1.3 m and 3 m. Customer-specific productions are available up to a width of 8.1 m. Customer-specific productions constitute a large percentage of our weaving mill's volume of output. Here, meshes are manufactured which have to meet specialized specifications or standard meshes made of special materials like monel, hastelloy, inconel or titanium.

To achieve short delivery times, all standard meshes are available in suitable quantities from stock.
